Space Planning

The first and most important step in the design process is space planning.

This is the creative layout encompassing scale and harmonious balance for ease of use, traffic flow and aesthetics. Consideration is give to furniture size in relation to other furniture as well as to the size of the room. Lighting, accessibility, windows, ceiling height, art, accessories and plants play vital roles.

Once an overall space plan is designed, it can be implemented immediately or over time, either using an Interior Designer or by self purchasing.

I equate a space plan to the blueprints when building a home. Don't begin the project without it!
